WHO WE ARE

Our team is based out of the Centre de formation médicale du Nouveau-Brunswick in New Brunswick, Canada, and we are honoured to facilitate the coordination and ongoing activities of this global network.

Through collaboration, knowledge exchange, and partnerships, SBRN works to advance research and translate evidence into practice to help reduce sedentary time and improve population health.

Our Vision

Key aspects that we aim to achieve include:

  • The development of an SBRN Research Agenda,
  • Increasing diverse representation internationally (especially student members),
  • Revamp forward-facing media such as the website,
  • Collaborating with other healthy lifestyle promoting organizations,
  • Generate research capacity and collaboration for SBRN members,
  • Remain a key source for major developments in sedentary behaviour research.
